Donโ€™t Be Aba-Lonely! ๐Ÿ’•
Join us at the SEA Discovery Center for a special Valentineโ€™s-themed program celebrating one of the Salish Seaโ€™s most important โ€” and endangered โ€” residents: the pinto abalone.
Through engaging, family-friendly talks, songs, and hands-on activities, learn how scientists are helping abalone find each other again through conservation aquaculture โ€” and how this tiny snail plays a big role in keeping our kelp forests healthy.
Talks are timed, and listed below, activities will be available throughout the day during our open hours!
๐Ÿ•š Friday, February 13: 11:00 am, 1:00 pm, & 3:00 pm
๐Ÿ•› Saturday, February 14: Noon
Perfect for kids and adults alike. Come celebrate science, conservation, and a love story beneath the waves โ€” and help make sure abalone are never aba-lonely again. ๐Ÿ’™๐ŸŒŠ
