Three Impacts Of Your Donations

Marine Science Education & Conservation

Close-up of a vivid octopus displaying its unique patterned suction cups on its tentacles.

The new exhibit will bring more visitors to SEA and in turn the number of people advocating for a better marine environment. New education programs will be created centered around the new octopus habitat.

Community Pride & Vitality

A large octopus statue sits outside the Sea Discovery Center, a Western Washington University facility. A welcome sign and oar add to the nautical theme.

SEA Discovery Center is a beloved community resource, supported by many local businesses and organizations. The increase in visitors to SEA, means more people will experience all the community has to offer.

Organizational Sustainability & Growth

A colorful mural depicts an underwater scene with an octopus, coral, and other sea life on a teal background.

Without the opportunity to increase attendance, grow programs, and diversify revenue, the long-term strength of SEA Discovery Center is limited. A strong base of support will ensure the viability of SEA.
